Website Development Projects
I have been privileged and honored to work with hundreds clients from across the United States. Some of the websites I have built are still on the web, and sadly, some are gone. Some of the projects posted here were collaborative efforts, which were completed as part of a team of highly-skilled professionals that I have had the pleasure to work with over the years. Please enjoy my online portfolio, but understand this does not reflect the extent of my expertise. Client demands typically dictate the direction of a project and I am capable of making any realistic expectation come true, give me a call so we can chat about your project.
This project was a pleasure. When it was time to launch the site, the DMGMA invited us to their annual dinner which was fantastic. We launched the website to a few hundred people who had great feedback and adoration. This project required custom website development, SEO, programming, flash, CRM, and CMS. In my role as the Director of Sales, I wrote the scope of work document, website development contract, and I worked closely with the project manager and development teams to ensure the success of the project.
This company owns and operates many domains and websites. I was responsible for building two websites for Eastern Marine during my time as Project Manager with a small development company in Delaware. I provided Training, SEO, Design Mock-up, Sales, Support, Blog setup and training, and Usability advice for these projects. This is a high volume eCommerce company with a large physical warehouse located in Northern Delaware.
This was a fun project. I wrote the scope of work document, won the contract for the company, and in the meantime, I was promoted from Director of Sales to Project Manager. In my role as Project Manager for this project, I was directly responsible for the success of the project. Due to an accelerated timeline demanded by the client, our team was able to launch this website in 2 weeks. Work included custom website design, custom flash work, a CRM/CMS system which allows the Medical Center to manage tenants and edit/upload content as needed. Upon completion of the project, I trained the staff at Eden Hill and provided ongoing support and upgrades as needed. This is a really beautiful building and the staff were great to work with.
During this project I learned how to spell Ophthalmology very well. My role was project manager and Director of Sales. I worked closely with the client to develop the scope of work and then proceeded to lead a team of developers to complete the project on time and within budget. This is one of two projects we completed for this client in the same year. Some skills utilized for this project include, Sales, Design, Flash, SEO, CMS, Training, Video, Custom Website Development, and Support.
Fantastic people and a fun project. I had the pleasure of being the project manager on this one. I initially designed this website project while working for a small Delaware website development company. The layout has been modified since I designed it two years ago but, the overall look is still there.
This project included SEO, custom graphic design, custom programming for the vehicle inventory / database application, and client training for the CRM and CMS portions of the website.
Matt Stiller is the man to see if you ever find yourself in an unfortunate situation, such as being arrested for DUI. He needed a website which highlighted the fact that he was tough and got the job done. I think I delivered! This website was built on top of the Wordpress Content Management System (CMS), this allows Matt to manage the website on his own, without the need for special programs or training. He can login to the website from his call phone, make changes, add and remove content, write a blog post, and his clients can make credit card payment!
My role on this project was as an SEO advisor and a Flash Developer. This project was completed back in 2008 and includes video, online ordering, CRM and CMS functionality. As a bonus, the Monster Racing team invited the entire company out for free laps around the Dover International Speedway.
During my time at a small website development company located in Delaware, we provided two websites for the Pacific Trailer company in Ontario, California. The interesting thing about this project was that, I was raised in Pomona, California which is right around the corner from Ontario; located 35 miles East of Los Angeles, in San Bernardino county. Due to the amount of products this website sells, this project took a considerable amount of time and required custom programming, custom graphic design, eCommerce, CRM/CMS, and Flash work to be successful. The team really worked hard getting this project completed on time and within budget. My role was Project Manager and Director of Sales for these websites.
This is a small and ongoing eCommerce project. The owner of Rene Derme is non-technical and now has a place to sell and manage his products easily and very inexpensively. This site uses Wordpress (open source) and a well known shopping cart plug-in. Payments are handled through Paypal and Google checkout. Adding a payment gateway and merchant account is preferred but, this setup works for this particular customer and he is happy.
To complete this project and meet client expectations, I utilized the popular Open Source Content Management System (CMS), Wordpress. Ben Schwartz, from Schwartz & Schwartz Attorneys at Law, P.A., loves to write blog posts and he (Ben) is heavily involved in the management of the website. Utilizing the CMS, Ben has the ability to add/edit pages whenever he wants. He can write blog posts, upload photos, add video and much more, right from his cell phone. Clients of the law firm can also make seamless credit card payments directly on the website, without being redirected to an outside vendor to handle the transaction. This project was fun!
SCORE is a national organization which specializes in Small Business counseling. In my role as project manager for this website, I was directly responsible for every aspect from client meetings, through the mock-up process to the implementation and testing phases. This project was completed in 2009 and required meetings, custom Flash development, CRM, CMS, Custom Graphic Design, Programming, SEO, Analytics and Training.
For this project, I provided sales, SEO, and CMS training back in 2008. This team project took a few months to develop and included a lot of cooperation between the creative director, programming team, network engineers, the client, and the graphic designer. The project included custom flash design, CRM, CMS, Programming, Design, Training and ongoing customer care.
While working for a small, local website development company in Dover, Delaware, I provided technical advice, SEO and usability services to Taylor Marine Center. During the course of two years, the Taylor Marine websites received many revisions including but, not limited to Flash, Design, SEO, Usability, Analytics, Heat-Mapping, Mock-up, Blogs, and CMS Training.
In my role as Director of Sales for a small website development company in Delaware, I met with City officials, developed the scope of work and wrote the website development contract for this project.
After being awarded the project, I became the project manager. I was blessed with a talented team of five developers, engineers and programmers who successfully launched the website on time and within budget.
This project required multiple meetings with the City council of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware and an open-forum for citizens to voice ideas and concerns with the newly developed site.
This was a fun project and one I am sure everyone involved will not soon forget, for a myriad of reasons.
This is a fantastic organization and they were a pleasure to work with. I was the Director of Sales for this project and I worked closely with personnel from the GUAA and the project manager to ensure the scope of work and timeline obligations were met. We launched the website to the entire organization at their annual meeting in Baltimore, Maryland; it was a blast. This project required substantial search engine optimization in an effort to increase enrollment.
My role for this project was Director of Sales and Search Engine Optimization specialist. I scoped the project, priced it accordingly, wrote the contract and scope documentation and then provided service after the sale. Services included acting as a liaison between the Creative Director and the client to ensure a successful outcome. Once the graphic design work was completed and a design concept was chosen, I was a key player in gathering content, organizing the content in a logical manner and providing Search Engine Optimization and client training. This project was a team effort which I feel turned out fantastic.
